I hope this message finds you well and in good health. I am writing to you as a concerned citizen of the Philippines, and I would like to draw your attention to a pressing issue that has been affecting countless individuals in our country.
The statistics are indeed concerning. According to The Philippine National Police – Anti-Cybercrime Group (PNP – ACG), as reported by inquirer.net, over P155 million was lost to more than 8,000 online scams from January to August 2023. The impact of these scams has left victims, including myself, in a state of distress.

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office finds that you failed to comply with the requirements of contact information and you posted an invalid IDENTIFICATION. Kindly comply with the requirements of the Executive Order No. 2, s. 2016 in filing an FOI request using this portal. And for your next valid request, you address that concerns to the Department Of Information and Communications Technology (DICT).
