Sim Card Registration

Requested from NTC by V. Remotina at 09:59 PM on Sep 30, 2023.
Purpose: Educational Purposes

Hello there! I would like to ask some questions regarding the Sim Card Registration.

As NBI have started their investigation and had successfully registered a sim card using fake id and a picture of a smiling monkey, what does it mean for the future of sim card's user? Will this loophole be the key for the continuity of scams and fraud? And is the registration a futile act to stop text scams and frauds?

Thank you!
