Hi OMB, 

I am a freelance consultant from Singapore based company and due to the the lockdown, I have no choice but to work from home.
My company needs to send my company laptop from Singapore to Philippines but courier is asking for required permit/s for ship my laptop.

I have already lodged a request for NTC permit would like to know if I need to secure an OMB permit also. Appreciate if you could point me to the right direction how to go about it?

All my work files is in that laptop and I need to ship it to Philipines ASAP.

You asked for OMB Permit for Office/Work Laptop.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. Kindly secure an OMB Clearance for the importation of the said laptop, which is considered as a storage device and falls under the jurisdiction of the Optical Media Board.

You may apply for an OMB Clearance online via the OMBeOnline Platform, http://online.omb.gov.ph/omb/login
