Inquiry for any ties by the Philippine army towards Bright Media or Israeli state-owned firms

Requested from AFP by N. Ramirez at 09:31 PM on Oct 22, 2021.
Purpose: Media research
Date of Coverage: 07/25/2021 - 08/28/2021
Tracking no: #AFP-832288145622

Ramirez 09:31 PM, Oct 22, 2021

Hello! I would like to inquire if any documents exist that show the Philippine Army, DOST, or the rest of the AFP having used Bright Media services or have ties to state-owned Israeli IT firms/companies.

This is due to cyberattacks human rights group Karapatan has received that was traced to the Philippine Army, DOST and Bright Media, based on Qurium Media Foundation's research (who also received cyberattacks alongside Bulatlat and Altermidya).

This is out of concern for national security: Bright Media used to be a sister company to Hola VPN, that misused IP addresses as proxies.
