Enlistment documentation for Domingo Esperanza Apilado

Requested from AFP by L. AZEVEDO at 05:57 AM on Jul 08, 2022.
Purpose: Proof of service in PI armed forces or scout and Philippino WII Congressional Gold Metal application
Date of Coverage: 01/01/1945 - 12/31/1945
Tracking no: #AFP-294214079721

AZEVEDO 05:57 AM, Jul 08, 2022

Hi
I would like to request official enlistment and retirement documentation copy for my Father, Domingo Esperanza Apilado, deceased, for military service during WWII in the Philippines. His military number was 179646 in 1945 which was from a partial list of a faded and incomplete document of Private's names and numbers that we have. It was signed by an official, Sofronio Z. Concepcion, Major, Infantry, Adjutant General, 121st. Infantry. Dad did receive a pension from the Philippine government. This document was not proof enough and not accepted for Congressional Gold Metal application.
