I started my ROTC in Fort Bonifacio when i was in PMI (2003),and continue it in Iloilo when i transfer to John B Lacson 
Maritime University (2003-2007) i would like to know my serial number and How can i become a reservist.

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS
How to become a Navy Reservist?

Ans:    A. Source of Commission:
1) Advance ROTC or Probationary Officer Training Course graduate.
2) PO’s/NCO’s of the PN Regular Force with outstanding records of service.
3) Graduates of the degrees requiring 4 or more years of study in the interest of the Philippine Navy requires, particularly thus in the fields of maritime, engineering, information technology, education, social sciences, management and such other courses.
4) Graduates of the Master in National Security Administration (MNSA)
5) Philippine Navy Affiliated Reserved Units
6) Elected Gov’t Officials and Presidential appointees.
7) PN Regular Officers who have resigned his/her commission and the acceptance of which was not for cause or PN Reserve Officer who are no longer qualified for Call to Active Duty(CAD) provided his/her reversion is not for cause.

B. Source of Enlistment:
1) Basic ROTC Graduate
2) Basic Citizen Military Training
3) Retired from the Military Service
4) Honorably Discharged from the Service
5) PNARU Program

What is the age requirement to be qualified for commission/enlistment in the Naval Reserve Force?

Ans:    Age of applicant must not be less than 18 years nor more than 64 years of age at the time of appointment as PN reserve officer

Where to proceed to file my application as a navy reserve?

Ans:    You may proceed to the nearest Naval Reserve Center in your place of domicile for submission of application form and documentary requirements.

What are the basic requirements for commission/enlistment in the Naval Reserve Force?

Ans:    FOR COMMISSION:
Applicant must be a Filipino citizen 
Educational Attainment Diploma & Transcript of Record 
Physical Examination Report (from civilian Hospitals to be validated by any AFP Hospital)
Board Certificate/Board Rating/ PRC License/ Civil Service Eligibility
Certificate of Drug Test Result (accredited by DOH drug testing centers) 
NAC Clearance (to be issued by NR2, NRC 
               FOR ENLISTMENT:
a.    Applicant must be a Filipino citizen
b.    Reservist Information Data Sheet
c.    Diploma & Transcript of Record (authenticated by School Registrar)
d.    NBI Clearance (original copy
e.    PSA Birth Certificate with RECEIPT
f.    Certificate of Drug Test Result


I am a NROTC graduate, where can I retrieve/get my serial number?

Ans:    You may proceed to your school/NROTC unit/Naval Reserve Center where you finished your NROTC program. Present your authenticated Certificate of Completion to the Admin and Personnel Officer of the unit to retrieve your records and/or the Special/General Orders indicating your Name and AFP reservist serial number.


Your right to request a review
