Your Request

You asked for ATI's Urban Agriculture Program in Metro Manila.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. Here is the information you requested.
1. How many barangays in Metro Manila did the ATI coordinate with, in line with its Urban Agriculture Program? 
*  ATI only covered Quezon City and Caloocan City for the implementation of the Urban Agriculture Program. There are 80 UA gardens established as of  November 2022.
2. Is there specific criteria that these barangays should meet to qualify as an affiliate of ATI?
 * Yes.
*With a suitable area for the establishment of the garden
* with people assigned to manage the garden
* with people assigned to be trained as a trainer
* With available water supply
3. What is the flow of the training or seminars in these locations? 
* The training can be face-to-face or online discussions and hands-on activities.
4. How many learners and instructor(s) are involved in each session?
* No specific number of participants. 
5. Does the agency conduct follow-up training or assessments? If yes, how long is the interval? And how are they evaluated?
* Yes. After training, the participants provide their re-entry plan.
6. Is there a name for these training or seminars?
* Basic Urban Agriculture Garden
*Training on Vegetable Seeds Production and Plant Propagation
* Training on Agripreneurship.
