Your Request

You asked for the number of fire incidents in region 1.

Response to Request

Your FOI request is approved. 
There were 967 fire incidents in the Region for the year 2016. In order to minimize fire incidents, we conducted Ugnayan sa barangay as a fire safety activity of the BFP. At present, we conduct OLP (Oplan Ligtas na Pamayanan) as response to the fire protection program for the communities, rural and urban villages and barangays.
