Hi I would like to request any Implementing rules and regulations that the HCFC-123 fire extinguisher shall be refilled yearly. Some manufacturer claimed that the said HCFC-123 fire extinguisher expiration is 5 years.

You asked for HCFC-123 Fire Extinguisher.
Response to Request
there is NO expiration date for the HCFC Chemical. However, there is periodic maintenance to ensure that the pressure left in the extinguisher tank is sufficient enough (it stays in the GREEN portion of the pressure indicator dial) to ensure that it will operate in an actual emergency.
Further, may we send you a copy of our Memorandum Circular on erring BFP Personnel involved in the selling and distribution of extinguishers and other firefighting equipment (attached).

Who are the authorize personnel that can certify that the HCFC fire extinguisher is in good condition that will be accepted by the BFP. IS the company's safety officers are enough to certify that the HCFC fire extinguishers are in good condition or the company's fire marshal? Hope to know the Implementing rules and regulations regarding this if there is any.
