Good day. I would like to humbly request your good office to please secure me all copies of my Income Tax Returns (ITR) per year, between 2009 and 2011. I am being asked to provide copies of my ITRs as a critical requirement for work here abroad. It would be a great, big help if you could secure me copies of those ITRs.
I will actively monitor this request and attend to any of your requirements and replies as soon as possible.

I refer to my letter of Oct 18, 2021 07:57:03 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for ITR - BIR Form 2316.
In order for us to work further on your request and properly endorse it to the concerned, we need more information from you regarding your query. In particular, it would be helpful to know the following details:
Where did you file your ITR for 2009-2011?
What RDO are you registered with?
However, for ITR 2009- 2011, please be informed of the below procedure in ITR Filing prior to 2013:
1. The employers provide for the BIR Form 2316 to their employees after the year ends; and
2. Subsequently, all employees are required to file their returns to the RDOs where they are registered, with tax due or zero/no payment, hence we cannot provide a copy of BIR 2316
The mandatory submission of Employees’ BIR Form 2316 in lieu of the Income Tax Return (ITR), “who are qualified for substituted filing” by the employers started the year 2013, reference-based in RR No. 11-2013 and further amended by RR 2-2015.
During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Jan 11, 2022 04:46:31 AM, your request will be closed.

Dear Ma’am Ana,
For these questions below, I have no idea where it was filed or what RDO am I registered as I’m also not sure if my previous company does the filing before. It has been a long time as well, I just assumed that BIR still have records. The only thing I remember is my company is based in Makati City.
Also, as confirmed in your email in step no. 2, I assume that I will not be able to obtain a copy of form 2316.
