April 28, 2023 Dear Ms. Azcarraga: Greetings! Thank you for your request dated Apr 27, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for TIN Verification SLip. Response to your request After careful consideration, we resolve to deny your request due to the reason that Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and Other Relevant Personal Information is considered a piece of Sensitive Personal Information that is bounded by the Republic Act (RA) No. 10173 or the Data Privacy Act of 2012, and as such, it is not advisable to be uploaded in the FOI Portal because this is a public website. For Online Verification, you may do any of the following: 1. Through the Online Registration and Update System (ORUS) TIN Verification and BIR Registered Business Status Search Facility functionality; or 2. You can now retrieve your Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) and Revenue District Office (RDO) Code through Revie’s TIN Inquiry Module. Revie can be accessed on the BIR website at https://www.bir.gov.ph. Kindly accomplish the FOI Request Feedback Form at the link: https://bit.ly/BIRFOISurveyForm01. Please be informed that you have the right to appeal the decision of the undersigned with fifteen (15) days from receipt of this Notice of Denial.
