Hi, I would like to request a copy of my form 2316. I need it for my loan approval.

Dear Mr. Arapols,

I refer to my letter of Oct 27, 2021, 12:55:24 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR Form 2316.

In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. Please provide us your employer’s TIN, business name & address, and email it @ ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph, for us to properly endorse your request to the concerned RDO. Also what specific year are you requesting?

However, your BIR Form 2316 should have been issued to you by your employer as it is mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made. Thus, we would like to advise that you better ask for a copy of your 2316 directly from your employer as they are the main source of such documents. 

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Jan 19, 2022, 10:34:21 AM, your request will be closed.
