Hi All,

Good day!

I am writing in through this website to request and hopefully receive a copy of my BIR 2316 form. This is for the purpose of submitting one of the employment requirement for housing loan. Regrettably, my current employer is not able to provide me with my BIR 2316. I worked from October 18, 2022 up to present.


It would be very much appreciated if you can send me a copy via email as my employment is on the line — I have to submit this on December 14, 2023

Dear Mr. Benedicto:

I refer to my letter of Dec 06, 2023 08:46:52 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Request for a copy of BIR 2316.

This is in connection with your request for information, with reference number #BIR-432220151532, for the Request for a Copy of Income Tax Return and/or BIR Form No. 2316.

After careful consideration, copies of Income Tax Return (ITR) can be requested from the Revenue District Office (RDO) where the same was filed and/or submitted or to the RDO where your Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) is registered. You just have to submit a Signed Letter Request for the purpose. However, if you are referring to BIR Form No. 2316, the same shall have to be requested from your EMPLOYER since the same is the One Mandated by Law to Prepare and Provide to the Concerned Employee/s pursuant to Section 2.83.1 of Revenue Regulations (RR) No. 10-2008.
