Hi. I would like to request for a copy of my 2316 for years of 2021, 2017 and 2018. Unfortunately the company I used to work for has transferred office therefore all their documents in store has been compromised. I also was not able to keep these records except for the other years.

Dear Ms. Gonzales:

I refer to my letter of Dec 19, 2023 07:42:10 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR Form No. 2316.

In reply, please be informed that records of BIR Form No. 2316 from Calendar Year (s) 2017 and 2018 are no longer available from the Revenue District Offices (RDOs) as it was more than four (4) years of Retention Period per Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 73-2008.

For BIR Form No. 2316 issued from the Calendar Year 2021, kindly provide the following details:

1. Name of your Employer during the aforesaid Calendar Year;
2. TIN of your Employer;
3. Employers Business Address; 
4. Your Birthday, TIN and Middle Name. Your request will be endorsed to the RDO (where your employer is registered). The concerned office will be providing you a copy of the Certificate if your name is included in the Notarized Annex F (Certified List of Employees Qualified under Substituted Filing).

Kindly email the requested information at sherry.ann.arcita@bir.gov.ph and indicate in the email subject ticket number #BIR-448721976574, to respond.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Mar 12, 2024 12:20:00 AM, your request will be closed.
