Good day! I have been given a BIR Form 2307 from April 2021 up to date, do I need to send this to BIR? I am just curious since, according to the company the tax were already paid to BIR.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Jun 01, 2022 07:57:59 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your Request

You asked for BIR Form 2307.

Response to Request

We called your contact information today (June 1, 2022 @ 900 A.M) and informed you of the following:

1. We asked you of your current work and if you had file/d your Income Tax Return (ITR) for 2021 last April 18, 2022.

2. You are also advised to refile your BIR Form 1701 - Annual Income Tax Return Individuals (including Mixed Income Earners), Estates and Trusts at Revenue District Office No. 83-Talisay Cebu having jurisdiction over the place of your residence address, attached in your BIR Form 1701 your BIR Form 2307 given by your employer. You may consult or ask for the help of the ONETT Section Examiner to be able to come up with your income tax dues with penalties.

3. You are further advise, to transfer your TIN registration from RDO 98-Cagayan de Oro City to RDO 83-Talisay Cebu by accomplishing BIR Form 1905 and send it to rdo_98@bir.gov.ph.

4. Once receive by RDO 83-Talisay Cebu you are required to update your taxpayer type from Local Employee to Self-Employed Professional.
