Dear Ms. Santos,

I refer to my letter of Nov 22, 2021 10:55:46 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return.

Please be informed that the ITRs that we have in our files are those returns that were filed and paid over-the-counter through our various Accredited Agent Banks; however, for no-payment returns that were filed through our eBIRforms and EFPS system, we do not have the hard copies of these returns on file.

However, if you know where you filed your Annual ITR, you may directly request it to the concerned RDO and bring the copy of your ITR and two valid IDs as they may also need to validate and determine if you are the rightful owner of the documents requested as these are sensitive information and are bound by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and Sec 270 of the NIRC.

on the other hand, In order for us to properly endorse and work further on your request, in case you have no more copies of your ITR, kindly provide us the following details and email them at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph. as these contain sensitive information:
-What ITR form did you file for 2020?(2021 ITR is yet to be filed next year) 
-Where did you file your ITR, what RDO are you registered with?
-Your TIN (if self-employed)
-Tax Return Confirmation Receipt (if your ITR were filed online)

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Feb 15, 2022 04:42:29 AM, your request will be closed.
