For my research study, I seek comprehensive data on the number of individual taxpayers registered with the Bureau of Internal Revenue for the current year.

1. Kindly Attached scanned copies of your valid school/organization I.D; and
2. Written indorsement of your supervising teacher/professor/ instructor pursuant to Section 21.3, Chapter VII-Standard Procedure for eFOI Requests of the Revised People's Freedom of Information Manual for the Bureau of Internal Revenue.
Please be informed also, per Section 21.2 the purpose of your request for information shall be specific or adequately and sufficiently described. General averments of the purpose such as "for information", "for research", "for legal purpose", or other similarly worded purposes shall not be considered to have met the requirements of specificity.

In reply, please be informed that we have coordinated your request and/or concern with Taxpayer Service Programs & Monitoring Division (TSPMD) who handles the report, however, the said office has no updated record for the month of October 2023. You can visit the agency website at www.bir.gov.ph and see the BIR Annual Reports for the Total Population of Registered Taxpayer.
