Hi! I would like to request a copy of the Latest 'Income Tax Return of Parent' because I need to get my tax exemption certificate for my application as a 'Solo Parent' and would like to apply a scholarship for one of my children. I have four children.

Dear Ms. Babatid:

I refer to my letter of May 10, 2023 10:34:59 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Latest Income Tax Return of PARENT.

We called your mobile number today, May 10, to validate your existing eFOI request, however, our calls are unsuccessful.

We would like to know if you are currently Employed as Local Employee? or have Business?. Because if you are employed and are receiving a purely compensation income from your employer, your employer is obliged to issue /furnish every employee (including you) a copy of BIR Form 2316 as a proof of taxes withheld which shall serve as an Annual Income Tax Return of the latter according to Revenue Regulation 2-98, as amended.

This certificate will serve as your Income Tax Return and can be use to whatever purpose that it may served.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Aug 02, 2023 03:11:54 AM, your request will be closed.
