Dear Jasmin Sayo:
I refer to my letter of Jun 02, 2022 01:38:28 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Copy of my ITR for the year 2021.
In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. You have indicated in your request that you require a copy of your ITR for the year 2021. For verification and clarification, kindly provide additional information on the following:
1. Did you have a registered business between the period 01-01-2021 to 12-31-2021? Or were you an individual earning on purely compensation income from the period of 01-01-2021 to 12-31-2021?
2. If employed, kindly provide the name of your employer and registered address of your Employer for the period 01-01-2021 to 12-31-2021?.
3. Withstanding your answer to the first and second query, did you file an ITR for the cited periods?

Greetings!
Thank you for your request dated Jun 02, 2022 01:38:28 PM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.
Your Request
You asked for Copy of my ITR for the year 2021.
Response to your request:
Your request cannot be processed because the submitted CDs of scanned copies of Certificate of Compensation Payment/Tax Withheld (BIR Form 2316) by the employer cannot be validated because it is corrupted.
After careful consideration, however, we resolve to grant your request but only up to the compensation and withholding tax information found in the Alphalist of Employees filed by your employer for the year 2021. A certification was made on the information gathered for your purpose, a scanned copy of which was sent thru email.
For your guidance, please refer to the Revised People's Freedom of Information Manual for the Bureau of Internal Revenue, which is available for download at the Bureau's Official Website or www.bir.gov.ph.
