Dear Ms. Octavio:

I refer to my letter of Dec 19, 2023 04:38:28 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Father’s 2022 Income Tax Return Form 1701.

This is in connection with your request for information for the Request for a Copy of Income Tax Return of your father.

After careful consideration, copies of Income Tax Return (ITR) can be requested from the Revenue District Office (RDO) where the same was filed and/or submitted or to the RDO where your father's Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) is registered. Your father just have to submit a Signed Letter Request for the purpose. 

However, if you are referring to your father's BIR Form No. 2316, the same shall have to be requested from his EMPLOYER since the same is the One Mandated by Law to Prepare and Provide to the Concerned Employee/s pursuant to Section 2.83.1 of Revenue Regulations (RR) No. 10-2008.
