Dear Niño Bustamante:

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Jul 01, 2022 10:11:18 AM under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You Request for a copy of your Income Tax Return (ITR) and/or BIR Form 2316.

We have called your contact information today (July 1, 2022 at 10:22 A.M) and asked if you are employed or with business for the current year. As an Overseas Filipino Worker (OFW) you are exempted in filing of your ITR and neither not applicable to receive BIR Form 2316.

As a practical advise, you may secure a Certificate of Non-Filing of Income Tax Return from a Notary Public and attach in it your Barangay Clearance and Employment Contract and submit to the Revenue District Office (RDO) where you are registered (place of residence), for the issuance of Certificate of Tax Exemption.
