May 23, 2022 Dear Ms. Ara Bait-it: Greetings! Thank you for your request dated May 22, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch. Your request You asked for ITR for the year 2021 for the requirements for your son's voucher. In response to your request, If you are an employee with one employer and earning a purely compensation income regardless of the amount, you are qualified to "Substituted Filing" of Income Tax Return. Please be informed that you can request from your employer a copy of your BIR Form 2316 pursuant to Section 2.83 of Revenue Regulations No. 02-98 as amended which provides that “The employer shall furnish each employee with the original and duplicate copies of Form No. 2316 xxx.”.
