Hello,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to request a copy of my Income Tax Return (ITR) for the financial year 2022-2023.

My name is Vaneza Ihra A. Ibasco, and my tax identification number is 501370468. I need a copy of my ITR for my record as I will travel by February and will apply for a Visa in March

I would be grateful if you could provide me with a copy of my ITR at your earliest convenience. 

Thank you for your assistance in this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

Dear Ms. Ibasco:

I refer to my letter of Feb 01, 2024 12:17:57 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Request for a Copy of Income Tax Return (ITR).

After careful consideration, copies of Income Tax Return (ITR) can be requested from the Revenue District Office (RDO) where the same was filed and/or submitted or to the RDO where your Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN) is registered. You just have to submit a Signed Letter Request for the purpose. However, if you are referring to BIR Form No. 2316, the same shall have to be requested from your EMPLOYER since the same is the One Mandated by Law to Prepare and Provide to the Concerned Employee/s pursuant to Section 2.83.1 of Revenue Regulations (RR) No. 10-2008.

For other concern/assistance, email vanessa.badeo@bir.gov.ph and indicate in the email subject Reference Number #BIR-496972550649, to respond.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Apr 25, 2024 05:44:53 AM, your request will be closed.
