Good day!

My name is Rachelle Anne Gogorza De Leon with TIN: 417-343-999. I would like to request for a copy of my income tax return for my employment period from:

O2011-2012 - Universal Robina Corporation (110 E Rodriguez Jr Avenue, Bagong Ilog Pasig City, 1100) - I was employed when I was still single and my maiden name is Rachelle Anne V. Gogorza

2018 - Gandang Kalikasan Incorporated (463 Commonweath Avenue, Quezon City, 1119)

I am getting my work experience accredited overseas and they are asking for tax returns as proof of my employment. Thank you!

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated May 01, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for Income Tax Return and/or BIR Form 2316.

Response to your request

In reply, please be informed that your request for a copy/copies of your BIR Form No. 2316 for the Calendar Year/s 2011, 2012 and 2018 cannot be granted by the Revenue District Office (RDO) because the records of the RDO on those periods are already unavailable since we follow strictly the four (4) year retention period based on existing revenue issuances of the BIR (Revenue Memorandum Circular 73-2008).

Hence, you may ask your previous employer/s for the copy/copies of your BIR Form 2316 because all taxpayers are required to preserve their accounting records for the period of 10 years in accordance with the Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 29-2019.

We also communicated your request to the Large Taxpayer Document Processing and Quality Assurance Division (LTDPQAD) since Universal Robina is considered as Large Taxpayer. Unfortunately, it was only last 2015 that the LT Employers were mandated by the BIR to submit scanned copies of the BIR Form 2316 of there employees.
