Good day!

I am Karyn Claire Lardizabal (Tin No. 456-862-666 / RDO 126), and I would just like to inquire how can I retrieve a copy of my ITR (form 2316) from year 2015-2017. I am currently working overseas (Singapore) so I won’t be able to do it personally. Is there anyway I can do it online?

You’re kind assistance is highly appreciated.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Oct 16, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Request for BIR Form 2316 from year 2015-2018.

Response to your request

In reply, please be informed that your request for a copy/copies of your BIR Form No. 2316 for the Calendar Year/s 2015 to 2018 cannot be granted by the Revenue District Office (RDO) because the records of the RDO on those periods are already unavailable since we follow strictly the four (4) year retention period based on existing revenue issuances of the BIR (Revenue Memorandum Circular 73-2008).

Hence, you may ask your previous employer/s for the copy/copies of your BIR Form 2316 because all taxpayers are required to preserve their accounting records for the period of 10 years in accordance with the Revenue Memorandum Circular No. 29-2019.
