Hello!

I would like to know all the applicable taxes (income, business, local, etc.) that micro, small, and medium enterprises EACH need to pay to the BIR and their respective LGUs. It would be great if the list of taxes were sorted based on the enterprise's asset size.

Dear Ms. Nazareno:

I refer to my letter of Dec 03, 2022 11:01:53 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Taxes that MSMEs need to pay.

Attached to your eFOI request is your School ID.  However, in order for us to proceed with the processing of your request, please submit the following requirement pursuant to the BIR's Revised People's FOI Manual: (1) written indorsement from your supervising teacher/professor/instructor currently enrolled at.

Aside from the written indorsement, the purpose of your request lack/s specificity. General averments of the purpose such as "for information", "for research", "for legal purpose", or other similarly worded purposes shall not be considered to have met the requirements of specificity. Failure to specify the reason for or purpose of the request for information, shall be a ground for denial of the eFOI request.

To determine the proper taxes due for MSMEs and/or taxpayers' records pertaining to the tax types to which they are being subjected to, can be answered best by the Revenue District Office (RDO) that has jurisdiction over the place or address of this MSMEs.
