Good day! I would like to request for an Income tax return because I need to get my tax exemption certificate for my scholarship application and ITR is one of the requirements for tax exemption certificate. Thank you.

Thank you for your request dated Mar 07, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Response to your request
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested as your ITR for CY 2021 is yet to be filed on or before April 15 this year. Also, I have noticed that you were not able to comply with the basic requirements for your eFOI request to be processed, hence, this request is denied.

For your guidance, please refer to the Revised People's Freedom of Information Manual for the Bureau of Internal Revenue, which is available for download at the Bureau's Official Website or www.bir.gov.ph.
