Hi! I would want to request a copy of my ITR 1701 for the year 2020 because the copy that was issued to us by Deped was lost and it is an important document for my daughter's DOST scholarship application

Dear Mr. Licayan,

I refer to my letter of Nov 24, 2021 09:36:03 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return.

In order for us to work further on your request, kindly provide us the following details and email them at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph. as these contain sensitive information:
-Where did you file your ITR, what RDO are you registered with?
-Tax Return Confirmation Receipt (if your ITR were filed online) 

Please be informed that the ITRs that we have in our files are those returns that were filed and paid over-the-counter through our various Accredited Agent Banks; however, for no-payment returns that were filed through our eBIRforms and EFPS system, we do not have the hard copies of these returns on file.

However, we would also like to suggest that you may directly request it to the  DEPED and have it xeroxed, or bring the duplicate/xerox copy with you to the concerned RDO for they may also need to validate and determine if you are the rightful owner of the documents requested as these are sensitive information and are bound by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and Sec 270 of the NIRC.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Feb 16, 2022 05:01:56 AM, your request will be closed.
