Hi I would like to request a copy of all of my income tax return. I am not sure if it started from 2013 or 2014? Thank you

I refer to my letter of Aug 22, 2022 08:06:10 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return and/or BIR Form 2316.

In reply, kindly clarify if you have a Registered Business? Or  a Mixed Income Earner? Or Under a Job Order Contract (JO) during May 01, 2013 to February 06, 2019. Or an Individual Earning Purely Compensation Income (Employee) for the aforementioned years?

If employed, per record/files of the district office/s for the aforementioned years 2013 to 2017 were already sent to archive for storage as it was more than five (5) years of safekeeping per Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 73-2008, Retention Period of Withholding Tax Certificates and/or BIR Form 2316. It will be practical and appropriate for you to refer to your employer and ask for the said copies where it actually originated.

kindly send us the Name of your Employer/s for the covering period of 2018 and 2019, Business Address of your Employer/s and Employer/s Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). We will try to coordinate and endorse your request to the Revenue District Office (RDO) having jurisdiction over the place of your Employer/s and where they submits their reports.

Email the requested information at sherry.ann.arcita@bir.gov.ph and indicate in the subject email #BIR-553191405544, to respond.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Nov 15, 2022 04:32:32 AM, your request will be closed.
