I'm an ofw in since 2014 and currently in residing in Qatar, I would to request for certificate for income tax exemption, for personal use.

Dear Mr. Ponce:

I refer to my letter of Oct 05, 2023 02:52:58 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income tax exemption certificate.

In reply, please be informed of the following pursuant to Section 21.2 of Chapter VII-Standard Procedure for efOI Request:

Section 21.2 - the purpose of the request for information shall be specific or adequately and sufficiently described. General averments of the purpose such as for information, research or legal purposes or other similarly worded purposes shall not be considered to have met the requirements of specificity.

Failure to specify the reasons for or purpose of the request for information shall be a ground for denial of the eFOI Request.

Kindly state the specific purpose of your application for an Income Tax Exemption. And do you have Other Sources of Income Within the Philippines (if you have a business).
