Hello!
I would like to request for the copy of my income tax return on years 2016 and 2018 which should reflect my previous employers. The purpose for this request is part of the assessment requirements as Payment evidence for my skills assessment which is necessary for my VISA application to Australia. My Tax records can be utilized as evidence.

I refer to my letter of Aug 22, 2022 09:50:18 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return March 01, 2014 to august 01, 2018.

In connection with your request through eFOI Portal pertaining to the request for a copy of BIR Form 2316 as Substitute  Income Tax Return for Taxable Year/s 2014 to 2018, Please be informed that per record/files of the district office/s (Where your Previous Employer/s are registered) for the aforementioned years were already sent to archive for storage as it was more than five (5) years of safekeeping per Revenue Memorandum Circular (RMC) No. 73-2008, Retention Period of Withholding Tax Certificates and/or BIR Form 2316. It will be practical and appropriate for you to refer to your employer and ask for the said copies where it actually originated.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Nov 15, 2022 02:31:14 AM, your request will be closed.

We hope to hear from you at the soonest possible time.
