I would like to know if my TIN number is legit.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Nov 10, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Response to your request

After careful consideration, we resolve to deny your request due to the following reasons:

1. The request falls outside the scope of the FOI program (i.e. the request is a front-line/government service of the agency, etc.); 

2. TIN and Other Relevant Personal Information is considered a piece of sensitive personal information that is bounded by the Data Privacy Act of 2012 and is not advisable to be uploaded in the FOI Portal because this is a public website.

Based on your address, you may secure a TIN Verification Slip at Revenue District Office (RDO) No. 93A-Zamboanga City, Zamboanga del Sur located at Petit Barracks, Zamboanga City. Please bring two (2) valid government-issued I.D.s containing the photograph and signature as proof of your identity for validation purpose. 

If the request is made through representative, a Special Power of Attorney of the requesting party (principal) and at least two (2) valid government IDs containing the photograph and signature of the representative and the principal shall be presented.
