Hello!

I would like to request a copy of my 2022 ITR as I do not have a copy and my sister needs it for her job employment at McDonalds. She will be a working student and McDonalds' need a working persons ITR for her to complete her application and start working. My previous company is not able to give me this other than an available copy of my BIR 2316.

Dear Ms. Lalimarmo,

I refer to my letter of Jul 19, 2023 12:16:42 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return (ITR) and/or BIR Form No. 2316.

We called your contact number today, July 19 to validate your existing eFOI Request, however, it was unsuccessful due to wrong indicated cellphone number.

If you are employed for the Calendar Year 2022, your EMPLOYER is required to issue a copy of your BIR Form 2316 for the said year pursuant to Section 2.83.1 of Revenue Regulations No. 02-98, as amended which provides that “The EMPLOYER shall furnish each employee with the original copies of Form No. 2316 xxx.” As proof that your taxes were withheld. This will serve as your Income Tax Return (ITR) that can be use for your intended purpose.

For other concern, email sherry.ann.arcita@bir.gov.ph and indicate in the ticket number #BIR-579011043568, to respond.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Oct 11, 2023 05:45:18 AM, your request will be closed.
