Your Request

You asked for I want to request for my Income Tax Return Copy for this year.

Response to Request

While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested. The Income Tax Return (ITR) for Calendar Year 2022 has not yet been submitted in the BIR Revenue District Office (BIR-RDO) where your employer is registered because the taxable period/year has not yet elapsed.

However, you may wish to contact/coordinate with your previous employer for the issuance of BIR Form 2316 as it must be accomplished by your employer for each employee receiving salaries, wages, and other forms of remuneration, indicating the total amount paid and the taxes withheld for the calendar year. It must be issued to the employee on or before Jan. 31 of the succeeding year, or on the day of last payment of wages in case of termination from employment. This certificate, will serve as your ITR being an employee earning purely compensation income regardless of the amount. You are qualified to “Substituted Filing” of ITR pursuant to Revenue Regulation (RR) No. 2-98 as amended.
