Dear Ms. Bautista,

I refer to my letter of Mar 15, 2022 05:27:57 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR 2316.

In order for us to properly endorse and work further on your request, kindly provide us the TIN, RDO and complete name and address of your employer and email them at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph. as these contain sensitive information.

On the other hand, it is also advised that you better ask for a copy of your 2316 directly from your employer as they are the main source of such documents.  It is also mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Jun 07, 2022 05:21:27 AM, your request will be closed.
