Hi Ma'am/Sir,

I would like to know if it is right for the developer to collect a Real Property Tax advance for 3 years even the title of lot was already under my parents name and we only avail a house construction with them.

In reply, you may inquire with the Local Government Unit (LGU) where the property is located. The subject Real Property Tax (RPT) is not among the taxes the Bureau of Internal Revenue (BIR) is tax to collect.
