Hi,

I hope this letter finds you well. I am writing to request a copy of my Income Tax Return (ITR) for the financial year 2018-2022.

My name is Centvin R. Manongsong, and my tax identification number is 335997791. My income is purely salary compensation. I am in need of a copy of my ITR for my visa application.

I would be grateful if you could provide me with a copy of my ITR at the earliest convenience. 

Thank you for your assistance in this matter. I look forward to your prompt response.

Dear Mr. Manongsong:

I refer to my letter of Jan 18, 2024 09:16:05 AM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Request for a Copy of Income Tax Return (ITR).

This is in connection with your request for information, with reference number #BIR-616694552374, for the Request for a Copy of BIR Form No. 2316.

After careful consideration, you are to coordinate with your EMPLOYER as the same is Mandated to Issue the BIR Form No. 2316 for the Calendar Year 2022, pursuant to Section 83 of the 1997 Tax Code and Section 2 [2.83.1] of Revenue Regulations (RR) No. 3-2002, respectively. 

The EMPLOYER shall furnish each Employee/s with the Original Copies of BIR Form No. 2316 as Proof that your Taxes were Withheld and this will serve as your Income Tax Return (ITR).  EMPLOYER is required to issue BIR Form No. 2316 on or before January 31 of Every Year and On the Day the Last Payment of Compensation is Paid.
