Hi,

I would like to request BIR 1700 filed in 2021. This will be needed as proof of income since 2022 is not yet available. Submitted this via ebirforms last time.

Dear Mr.  Angoluan:

I refer to my letter of Jan 24, 2023 04:11:36 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for BIR Form 1700.

In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. Please be informed that BIR Form 1700 is the Income Tax Return (ITR) file by a local employee who did not qualify under the Substituted Filing (the Certificate of Tax Withheld – BIR Form 2316 issued by the employer serves as the 1700 or Income tax return of the employee). 

In particular, it would be helpful to know the following details:
1)	What is the Complete name indicated in the Income Tax Return you filed?
2)	What is your Tax Identification Number as indicated in your filed return?
3)	What Revenue District Office No. did you file your form 1700?
4)	Did you file online or over the counter?

Please be informed further that the Revenue District Office (RDO) does not have copies of the “No Payment” returns filed either through eBIRForms or eFPS.

Kindly email the requested information at sherry.ann.arcita@bir.gov.ph and indicate in the subject email ticket number #BIR-624544293856, to respond.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Apr 18, 2023 08:51:02 AM, your request will be closed.

We called your contact number today, January 26, and apprised you that you can print a file copy of the filed return and email confirmation for your tax return filing in eBIRForms for future reference. 

If you were not able to print one, you may retrieve your filed return by selecting the form in the eBIRForms profile and then click the “PRINT” button below the form.
