Hi! I would like to request a copy of my BIR 2316 Form (Certificate of Compensation Payment/Tax Withheld) for the year 2022.

Dear Ms. Mary Jean Pescuela:

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated May 11, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request for your BIR Form 2316 for 2022.

Please be informed that the issuance of your BIR Form 2316 for Taxable Year 2022 is next year January 31, 2023 and the duplicate copy of this form must be submitted to the Revenue District Office (RDO) by your employer not later than February 28 of next year.

You may ask your employer re: BIR Form No. 2316 (Certificate of Compensation Payment/Tax Withheld) for Taxable Year 2021 (being the recent) as this should had been issued to you. As mandated by law, every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.
