Hi,

I would like to request for BIR2316 for years 2016 and 2017 as part of my employment in Macquarie Philippines.

I already requested this to mentioned employer but they are unable to process request anymore as it has been past their internal retention policy.

Please let me know what do I need to provide.

You asked for BIR2316.

Response to Request

After careful consideration, we resolve to grant your request for the year 2016.  A copy of your requested information was sent to the email address you have provided. 

For the year 2017, however, we regret to inform you that your request cannot be processed because your employer failed to submit a CD of scanned copies of Certificate of Compensation Payment/Tax Withheld (BIR Form 2316) for the year 2017.

For your guidance, please refer to the Revised People's Freedom of Information Manual for the Bureau of Internal Revenue, which is available for download at the Bureau's Official Website or www.bir.gov.ph.
