Hi, I would like to request for a BIR 2316 from my previous employer Offsourcing Philippines. My employment date was Sept. 2020 - Jan. 2021. I need it as a requirement for my new employer. Thank you

Dear Ms. Decena:

I refer to my letter of Jul 20, 2023 04:36:29 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Request for BIR 2316 Form.

In reply, please be informed that your request for a copy of your BIR Form No. 2316 can be obtained through your employer as they are obligated to furnish every employee a copy thereof as a proof of taxes withheld which shall serve as your Annual Income Tax Return according to Revenue Regulation 2-98, as amended.

Kindly coordinate with your employer and ask for the copy of your BIR Form 2316 from the Calendar Year 2020 to 2021 if you have not receive a copy.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Oct 13, 2023 04:39:21 AM, your request will be closed.
