I would like to request a copy of my BIR 2316 for the years, 2008 and 2013.
I would need them for my immigration application.

Your Request
You asked for BIR 2316.
Response to Request
Your FOI request is approved. We resolve to grant your request but only up to the compensation and withholding tax information found in the Alphalist of Employees filed by your employer for the year 2008. A certification was made on the information gathered for your purpose, a scanned copy of which was sent thru the email you provided.
Please note that we are only able to provide a certification because this Office does not have the information you have specifically requested (BIR 2316). It was only starting 2015 when the employers were required to furnish the BIR with scanned copies of BIR Form No. 2316. Your employer was not required to submit copies of 2316 certificates during the period requested.
For your guidance, please refer to the Revised People's Freedom of Information Manual for the Bureau of Internal Revenue, which is available for download at the Bureau's Official Website or www.bir.gov.ph.
