I would like to request your good office for Certified Tru Copy of my ITR (BIR From 2316) filed for calendar years 2004- 2019. The said copies will  be used as proof of employment to support my immigration papers to Australia. This will help in the assistance of finding me proper employment there.

Dear Lyra Ananda Aguon:

I refer to my letter of Jul 18, 2022 11:27:43 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Income Tax Return (ITR) or BIR Form 2316.

In connection with your request through eFOI Portal pertaining to the request for a Copy or Certified True Copy of your BIR Form 2316 as Substitute  Income Tax Return for Taxable Year/s 2004 to 2019, kindly send us the Name of your Employer/s for the covering period, Business Address of your Employer/s and Employer/s Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN). We will try to coordinate and endorse your request to the Revenue District Office (RDO) having jurisdiction over the place of your Employer/s and where they submits their reports. Kindly email the additional details at sherry.ann.arcita@bir.gov.ph and indicate in the subject email tracking number #BIR-663736137574, to respond.

Please be informed also, that per record/files of the district office/s for the aforementioned years most likely were already sent to archive for storage as it was more than five (5) years of safekeeping per Revenue Memorandum Cicular (RMC) no. 73-2008 (Retention Period of Withholding Tax Certificates). Though it will be practical and appropriate to refer to your employer and ask for the said copies where it actually originated.
 
During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Oct 11, 2022 06:50:09 AM, your request will be closed.
