Hi, I would like to request for BIR Form No. 2316 as part of the pre-employment requirements for my next employer/company.

Thank you for your request dated Jun 21, 2021 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for a Certificate of Compensation Payment.

Response to your request
You may ask your employer from 2014-2016 re: BIR Form No. 2316 (Certificate of Compensation Payment/Tax Withheld) as this should have been issued to you. As mandated by law, every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.
