Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated May 05, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for Income Tax Return and/or BIR Form 2316.

Response to your request

In reply, please be informed that you should attach two (2) scanned copies of your government issued identification cards per Section 21.2 of Section VII of the Revised People's Freedom of Information Manual for the Bureau of Internal Revenue.

Kindly provide the Complete Names of your Employers (Calendar Year 2019-2022), Employers TIN Number and Employers Address and your Year/Work Tenure.

Please be informed that BIR Form 2316 for Calendar Year 2014 to 2018 is already unavailable since we follow strictly the four (4) year retention period.

Lastly, your request for a copies of your BIR Form 2316 for Calendar Years 2014 to 2022 can be obtained through your EMPLOYERS as they are obligated to furnish every employee a copy thereof as a proof of taxes withheld which shall serve as an Annual Income Tax Return of the latter according to Revenue Regulation 2-98, as amended.
