Hi! This is Estifanie Rayos Dulangon from Balingasag, Mis. OR., I lost my TIN card 2 years ago which was issued last October 5, 2015 in Cebu City thru a fixer. Now that I'm applying for a job, I had to get a document or a verification slip containing my TIN #. The problem is, I went to our BIR office here in Cagayan de Oro City to verify my tin # but the officer in-charge told me my # wasn't found in the IRIS so that means I don't have a TIN # yet right? I still have the TIN # that was given to me since I took a photo of the card. This # was what I used too w/ my job last 2019. I'm confused.

Dear Ms. Estifanie Dulangon:

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated May 04, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You request/asked for your Taxpayer Identification Number (TIN).

In reply, our Revenue District Office (RDO) in Cagayan de Oro already conducted a verification of your TIN and per IRIS record you do not have a TIN yet.

We also verified from our IRIS and ITS System and
after inquiring, we have discovered that you do not have a TIN yet.

Moreover, filled-up BIR Form 1902 (Application for Registration – For Individuals Earning Purely Compensation Income, etc.) and submit the required attachments (like Birth Certificate, if single). Secondly, submit the said form to your employer. They will be the one to apply for the TIN of their employees through the eREG Portal pursuant to Revenue Memorandum Order (RMO) No. 37-2019 and may not be done personally unless qualifying scenarios are met as listed in the said issuance.

Thank you.

Respectfully,
Sherry Ann Cuyos
FOI Officer
