Hello, can I request for a copy of my BIR Form 2316 for Calendar Year 2020. I will be using the copy for my transfer of employment. Thank you.

Dear Mr. JAPAY,

I refer to my letter of July 23, 2021, 02:01:17 PM about your request under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch, for Form 2316 (C.Y. 2020) - Jan-Nere C. Japay.

In order for us to work further on your request, we need more information from you regarding your query. Kindly provide us your employer’s TIN, business name & address and email it at ana.marie.du@bir.gov.ph.

However, your BIR Form 2316 should have been issued to you by your employer as it is mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made, thus, you may also ask your employer for a copy.

During the period of us awaiting your reply, your request will be put on hold. If we do not receive a reply on or before Oct 15, 2021, 12:33:20 AM, your request will be closed.
