Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Feb 21, 2023 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for Liloan Southern Leyte - Income Tax Status.

Response to your request

In reply, please be informed of the provision under Revised People's Freedom of Information Manual for the Bureau of Internal Revenue.

1. The purpose of the request for information shall be specific or adequately and sufficiently described. General averments of the purpose such as "for information", "for research", "for legal purpose", or other similarly worded purposes shall not be considered to have met the requirements of specificity (section 21.2);

2. If the requesting party is a juridical entity, scanned copies of the original or certified true copy of the board resolution, corporate secretary's certificate or other acceptable written document showing the authority of the representative to act in behalf of such juridical entity (Section 21.3.C)

We wish to inform you also of the provisions of Section 270 of the National Internal Revenue code (NIRC) which prohibits us and most of all the concerned Revenue District Office (RDO) No. 90-Maasin Southern Leyte from divulging information pertaining to the data in the possession of the Concerned RDO.
