Good day!

May I request for a copy of my Bir Form 2316? I have resigned last February 02, 2021 from my last employer located in Mandaluyong City and my new employer requests the said document.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Oct 08, 2021, under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

You asked for BIR FORM 2316.

Response to your request
While our aim is to provide information whenever possible, in this instance this Office does not have the information you have requested as your 2316 for 2021 has yet to be filed next year, hence your request is denied.
However, you may request your 2316 from your employer as it is mandated by law that every employer shall issue BIR Form No. 2316 to every employee before the close of such calendar year, or if employment is terminated, on the day on which the last payment of compensation is made.

Thus, it is advised that you better ask for a copy of your 2316 directly from your employer as they are the main source of such documents.
