Hi! I would like to request for a copy of my BIR form 2316 from my previous company Sykes Asia Inc.

Coverage year is from 11/02/2020 to 06/30/2022. I have been requesting for this document since I started my job from my new employer and I still haven't receive any response.

Hoping you  could assist me. Thank you.

Greetings!

Thank you for your request dated Oct 20, 2022 under Executive Order No. 2 (s. 2016) on Freedom of Information in the Executive Branch.

Your request

You asked for Request for Copy of BIR Form 2316.

Response to your request

This is to inform you that as per Revenue Regulations No. 2-2015, Sec 2.83, states that the employer shall furnish each employee with the original copy of BIR Form 2316. Therefore, you can request your previous employer (Sykes Asia Inc.) to provide you your BIR Forms 2316 for the year  2020 to 2022.

Please be informed also, that your BIR Form 2316 for 2022
has not yet been submitted in the BIR Office because the Taxable Period (2022) has not yet elapsed/Finished. The BIR Office where Sykes Asia Inc. is registered will get hold of the said document upon submission of your former employer on February 28, 2023.
